For HBO’s Emmy Awards After Party, four Christie Roadster HD18K, four Christie WU12K-M and twoChristie Roadster HD10K-M projectors were used to create an intimate VIP environment in the open plaza of The Pacific Design Center.
As part of Disney’s summer Glow Fest, a street party environment was designed to get the audience in the mood. Infrared cameras captured dancers from the crowd and transformed them into live-action, graphic figures projected onto an architecturally-mapped kaleidoscope of colors – brought to life by three Christie 35K HD projectors.
The Fashion Institute of Design + Merchandising’s Debut was a Gala event at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. Six Christie Roadster HD18K projectors created custom-designed stage projections that complemented and showcased the collections from FDIM’s graduating students in Fashion Design.
Universal Studio Japan’s Christmas “Gift of Angels” garnered The Big E Award by IAAPA for its seamless integration of live dancers and singers performing within a digitally-mapped environment of holiday splendor. The elaborate stage projection setup included six Christie Roadster HD10K-M projectors. It took nearly six months to create and another month to mount.
